The Blessings Of A Relationship With God

Knowing God

Born in the south of France, the eldest of a family of five children, my origins are French and Moroccan. From the age of thirteen, my favourite hobby was writing French poems and songs. I initially pursued a degree in business administration, but a few years later developed a strong desire to sing. Unfortunately, circumstances didn't allow me to pursue this promising career.

In 1995, I came to the United Kingdom to improve my English. Struggling to make a living while in the UK, my life turned around when I believed and was baptized into Christ Jesus, confessing Him as my Lord and Saviour.

I saw the power of God at work in my life. It was this experience that motivated me to write this first book "Knowing God", which I believe will help those who are seeking God to get a better understanding of the riches of the Kingdom of God.

The Power Of Prayer & Jesus The Carpenter

Randolph Nicholas Alvis
Splinters On The Carpenter's Floor

Our God is continually shaping us to conform to the image of his Son. Splinter's On The Carpenter's Floor evolved from many nights in prayer to God to remove me out of a deep depression.

Jesus was a carpenter by trade, but the splinter's he created are those that fall from men's hearts. He's using a plane on our emotions, filing down our pride, and putting a fine stain of his blood of Calvary on each of his works.
Ask Jesus into your life and he will carve your life into something very beautiful. The sign in his carpentry shop window says 'Always open, quality work from a master craftsman' Praise His Holy Name!

Acts Of Faith - Kingdom Advancement

Kingdom Advancement - Acts Of Faith
Phillip A. Ross, Author

Jesus was the most misunderstood man in history — and He still is. But does He stand alone? Has anyone ever completely understood what the Lord was up to? This study of Acts shows that Paul understood Jesus, and carried forward Jesus' perspective, not simply Paul's perspective. It was an old perspective because it was a biblical perspective, not a new perspective.

See into one man's theology turned rightside up by the love of Christ. A pastor, born again in the pulpit, encounters the world and the church in the light of the gospel — and everything changed.

Reading, Kowing And Understanding The Sayings Of Jesus

Just imagine if your house was not built on concrete, but rather sand. Things could become very unstable at any given time. A earthquake could occur, or a winter storm. There could be a flood, or even a mudslide. The results could be very bad. Just imagine all the potential possibilities for disaster if your house was built on sand. Now imagine your life being built on sand.

Here are the words of Jesus on the matter. Life changing words that are over 2,000 years old, yet eternal.

Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

They key is reading, knowing, understanding and holding onto the sayings of Jesus.

Blessings, in Christ and His Words.

Thought For The Day - "In The Valley ... "

In the valley, the mountaintop seems far away. Look to Jesus and your valley will be the valley of vision.

--------------------

This thought is taken from

Isaiah 22:1-25

Here, we read about 'the Valley of Vision' (1,5). The Lord Himself is to be our Vision: 'Be Thou my Vision, O Lord of my heart; Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art, Thou my best thought, by day or by night, waking or sleeping Thy presence my light' (Church Hymnary, 87). Down in the valley, the mountain-top experience seems a long way off. What are we to do when everything seems to be hard-going? When there seems to be no way out of the valley, no way back to the mountain-top, we must keep on 'looking to Jesus' (Hebrews 12:1-2). In the 'valley', we must learn to say, 'My goal is God Himself, not joy nor peace, nor even blessing, but Himself, my God'. Let your 'valley' become your 'valley of vision', the place where you are learning to 'turn your eyes upon Jesus' (Mission Praise, 470,712).

Thought For The Day - "Christ Is Our Wisdom ... "

Christ is our Wisdom: the Way to wisdom, the Truth on which wisdom builds and the Life built on wisdom.

--------------------

Isaiah 28:23-29:16

'The wisdom of the wise will perish' (29:14). There is another 'wisdom', a 'wisdom' which shall not perish, a 'wisdom' which is 'wiser than man's wisdom'. Christ is 'the Wisdom of God' (1 Corinthians 1:24-25). With Christ as our Saviour, we 'shall not perish'. Through faith in Him, we receive the 'wisdom' which brings 'salvation' (John 3:16; 2 Timothy 3:15). Jesus Christ is 'the Way, the Truth and the Life' (John14:6). He is the Way to true wisdom. He is the Truth upon which true wisdom is based. He is the Life which is based on true wisdom. He is true Wisdom. We must not seek wisdom apart from faith in Jesus Christ - 'the world did not know God through wisdom'. There is one true wisdom which does 'not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of God' - faith in 'Christ crucified' (1 Corinthians 1:21-23; 2:1-5).

The Christ Has Risen

1Cr 15:20
But now is Christ risen from the dead, [and] become the firstfruits of them that slept.

Col 3:1
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

The Prophetic Ministry

Thank God for prophecy, and the prophetic ministry. The bible is filled with prophecy. Page and page of prophetic words, promises, even life and death. In these last days God is raising up a prophetic people. A people that hears His voice, dreams His dreams, and see's His visions.
I am going to write more on this as times passes because it's important for us to understand that when Jesus said "my sheep heareth my voice". Jesus meant exactly that being, His voice.
He who has ears, let him hear...
