It's the same thing that we're reading about in the rest of the Bible. We're looking at history from God's point of view. We're looking at history from the point of view of "the revelation of Jesus Christ." Why do we read the Book of Revelation? Why do we read the other parts of the Bible? We read God's Word so that our lives may be changed. We look at "the revelation of Jesus Christ." We pray that we may catch a glimpse of His grace and His glory. We pray that, as we turn our eyes upon Jesus, we will become more like Him.
